A two-tone paint job, bespoke artwork on the dashboard, and door panels and seats with intricate embroidery celebrate the luxury car’s grace.
Rolls-Royce unveiled an extremely exclusive Scintilla Private Collection edition of its ultraluxury Phantom sedan at the 2024 edition of Monterey Car Week.
There isn’t a scintilla of hope you’ll get to buy one: It’s limited to only 10 units, all of which are spoken for already. But you can admire the two-tone paint scheme and ceramic-finish Spirit of Ecstasy figurine.
The interior features intricately embroidered twill upholstery, bespoke artwork, a Starlight headliner, and special rear-seat picnic table surfaces.
When a new vehicle is unveiled at a car event, it’s usually to promote it for sale to prospective customers. But when it’s a very limited-production model that’s already sold out, it’s really only about showing off. Rolls-Royce, a frequent showoff at the annual Pebble Beach Concours event week, has done so here with the 2025 Phantom Scintilla Private Collection.
You can’t buy one. Only 10 will be built, and only three of those will come to the United States; all are already spoken for. But drool all you want; just keep it off the Scintilla’s two-tone ceramic paint job. The upper body is coated in Andalusian White with Thracian Blue covering everything from the window line down. At the front, the marque’s Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament is rendered in ceramic white instead of its usual bright metalwork.
Inside, the seats and rear door panels are covered in a twill cloth upholstery that features a flowing graphic design, but it’s not simply screen printed. Instead, Rolls-Royce says that the pattern is made up of 869,500 stitches of embroidery. The headliner features Rolls-Royce’s signature Starlight illumination motif with 1500 tiny fiber-optic lights arranged in a wavy pattern to match the rest of the interior’s theme.
To the right of the Phantom’s infotainment display, an area of the dashboard Rolls-Royce calls the Gallery, is a bespoke piece of artwork called Celestial Pulse. It features seven “ribbons” of milled aluminum with a ceramic finish that matches the car’s exterior.
Rolls-Royce says the Phantom Scintilla is among the most valuable Phantoms ever sold in North America. While a starting price was not announced—perhaps Rolls-Royce’s clientele finds the mention of money to be gauche—we suspect this beauty will require a seven-figure outlay from its lucky owners.
